LLC "3D ImpEx" was founded in 2018 in Armenia, Yerevan. Our founders Mr. Tigran Torosyan and his friends have extensive experience in the field of information technology, telecommunications, 3D design/modeling, 3D printing solutions, production of high quality 3D jewelry not only in Armenia, but also in Europe, USA and Russian Federation..

 

After conducting research in early 2018 by our telecommunications friend's market research team, we found that there was no leading direct supplier of 3D technology hardware or software in Armenia. Moreover, none of the existing 3D technology importers had a reseller in Armenia with a locally trained technical support team to provide after-sales service to local 3D printer owner businesses. This was a noticeable gap, since the main markets that used 3D printing in Armenia then (and still today) were the jewelry and dental industries. In 2018, the only brand present in the Armenian jewelry market was Solidscape, but without a direct representative.

 

Our founders learned about 3D Systems hardware solutions, namely the Projet 2500W printer, from our friends who are experts in the field and have been working with 3D printing solutions in the EU and US for many years. After learning about the unmatched speed and accuracy of 3D System printers, we decided to make the most of the opportunity to work with 3D Systems' top-notch technology!

 

The first Project 2500W was delivered to our 3D ImpEx office in Armenia in 2018. The printer was installed in the 3D ImpEx office. The office is ideally located in the jewelry market called Golden World in the center of the Armenian capital Yerevan, where more than 6,000 small, medium and large jewelry manufacturers are based. In a short period of time, our team of 3D designers and engineers was trained by our Armenian specialists from the USA and Europe to use advanced technologies of 3D design, 3D modeling, 3D printing. Now, thanks to the speed of execution of our 3D modeling orders and the high quality of the final products, we enjoy the trust of more than 500 clients who work with us every day.

 

In our 2 out of 3 production setups we use two Project 2500W printers, a Solidscape S390, a FabPro 100 and a Formlabs 3L. Every day we surprise our customers by proving to them that the 3D jewelry printing industry can achieve both speed, quality and, most importantly, a fair price. Our technical support team is constantly trained in the US and Europe and keeps the printers running on our 3D printing installations 24/7 and 7/7.

 

From 2018 to the present, the 3D ImpEx team has grown from 3 to more than 13 professionals, and we continue to grow dynamically.

We started with 3D printing services and now we have 5 departments: 3D printing (1), 3D modeling (2), technical support for 360° photos and videos (3), 3D animation in virtual and augmented reality ( 4) and Metal casting (5). The last two departments - virtual 3D animation and augmented reality and metal casting department are partially operational and are still under development, but the equipment, hardware and software are already in the company and installed. We are currently in the process of shaping our manufacturing processes and our services, defining our work processes, finding the best talent, and attracting young and dynamic talent, training them to become loyal professionals.
